Oyster Island and Espiritu Santo Island, Vanuatu

We parked just passed the first village (1.5 hours drive so far) and had to walk 30 mins to the second village. It was very muddy so our reef shoes came in handy as we slipped and slid our way along the path. There was light rain off and on and it felt like we were doing the Kakoda Track! There were some bamboo steps with wobbly tree branch poles for support in the worst places. This bamboo bridge crossed a creek 15m below and was constructed of loosely placed logs that you CAREFULLY made your way across and tried to not fall through any gaps!     Select the photo below to see more of the track.
